GDC Kargil bids Farewell to 13 Transferred Faculty Members

Kargil, DD, Government Degree College Kargil honored and bid farewell to 13 faculty members who had been serving the college over the past several years.

The transferred faculty members included Razia Parveen, Rinchen Angmo, Jigmet, Thinles Chondol, Padma Wangchuk, Dr. Rinchen Tundup, Tsewang Gyaltson, Dr. (Lt.) Murtaza Ali, Murtaza (Librarian), Haider Askary, Zahoor Ahmad, Kunzang Dolma, and Nasir Shabani.

Additionally, academic arrangement faculty members who completed their one-year tenure at the college were also recognized for their valuable contributions.

The farewell celebration featured heartfelt speeches and experience-sharing sessions by the transferred faculty members, who fondly recalled their time at GDC Kargil.

They expressed deep appreciation for the support and cooperation extended by the Principal and all the staff members throughout their tenure.

Speaking on the occasion, Nasir Shabani, recently appointed as Principal of GDC Drass, wished all the faculty members the very best in their future endeavors.

He emphasized the importance of continuous growth and excellence in every faculty member’s professional journey.

The Principal of the college, Disket Angmo, while bidding farewell, acknowledged the significant contributions made by the outgoing teachers across various departments.

She noted that their dedicated service had played a vital role in the college’s academic and administrative progress. Angmo also highlighted their work as conveners and members of various institutional committees and wished them continued success in their future paths.

The program concluded with the presentation of traditional khataks by the Principal to all the transferred faculty members. A special token of appreciation was also presented to Prof. Nasir Shabani to mark his reinstatement as Principal and posting at GDC Drass.

The event was organized by Staff Secretary Syed Mustafa Kamal, along with Mumtaz Ahmad and Dr. Abdul Hamid. The proceedings were conducted by Mohd Raza.DD
