2 CRPF personnel killed, more than 10 injured in Basantgarh road accident

UDHAMPUR: DD, Atleast two Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) have lost their lives and more than 10 personnel sustained injuries, including five critically, in a tragic road mishap in Basantgarh, Udhampur.
“A vehicle carrying these personnel were on their way to the place of their posting in Basantgarh when the driver of the vehicle lost control, and it plunged into a road side deep gorge,” a report claimed.

Indian Army launches major rescue operation in Dharali post-cloudburst

Immediately, a rescue operation was launched by the police, and locals and they evacuated the injured to the hospital. Meanwhile, the critically injured were shifted to the District Hospital, Udhampur.
Police have also launched an investigation into the accident.DD
