Central Administrative Tribunal Srinagar Bench concludes Circuit Bench at Kargil

Kargil, August 07, 2025: The Central Administrative Tribunal (CAT) Srinagar Bench successfully concluded a three days long Circuit Sitting at Tourist Facilitation Centre, Baroo Kargil.

The initiative aims to resolve service matters locally, providing Kargil residents justice at door step.

The Division Bench of CAT, comprised of Hon’ble Mr. D.S Mahra, Judicial Member/HoD and Hon’ble Mr. Prasant Kumar, Administrative Member, held a Circuit Bench in Kargil in hybrid mode allowing cases to be heard both physically and virtually for greater accessibility.

The total cases listed before the Hon’ble Bench were 68 and out which 17 cases were disposed off on spot.

The details of cases disposed are 6 – Original Application (OA), 1 – Contempt Application (CP), 3 – Transfer Application (TA), and 7 – Miscellaneous Application (MA).DD
