DIET Leh Concludes 3-Day Summer Workshop on Capacity Building Focused

Leh,DD, The District Institute of Education and Training (DIET), Leh, oraganised three day Capacity building program with CBSC for the teachers of Leh district to enhanced their knowledge and teaching more effectively. This summer workshop started on 4th August to 6th August aimed at revolutionizing various components and skills for the enhancement of education in Ladakh. The valedictory function, held at DIET Leh, marked the culmination of various approaches needed in 21st century skill to have more interactive classroom and teaching and also on various models of lesson plan. In these three days joint secretary Ramandeep Kaur, Rajiv Sharma Dy Chairman Centre of Excellence Chandigarh. Arindham Roy Chaudhary, Principal G.D. Geenka Public School, Arun John Masih Principal Baptist School Chandigarh and Smt. Tsewang Dolma Principal Lamdon Model Senior Secondary School. The experts delved into effective strategies for various component needed in teaching learning process, and building inclusive classroom and inclusion of diverse children keep their level of understanding. During the training teachers were engaged fully with many activities to have hands on practices , fully aligned with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 and NCF Curriculum.

A Blend of Innovation and Capacity Building mainly focus on how to designed various assessment keeping in view the diverse learners and also the experts share the important information on paper designing and rubrics.

The workshop empowering teachers with learning strategies, innovative pedagogy, and focus on the skills and creation of space where the learners get equal opportunity and cut away all the barriers. Key focus areas holistic development of both teachers and the learners.

On the valedictory function was graced by Chief education Officer Deldan Angmo as the Chief Guest. She was joined by Guest of Honour, Ramandeep Kaur, Joint Secretary CBSC, Principal DIET Leh, Mirza Medhi, HODs faculty Members of DIET Leh and the participants from Various School of Leh District.

In her address, Deldan Angmo expressed gratitude to the CBSC expert team and encouraged all the participating teachers to implement their learning in the classroom. She emphasized the real impact of such training is seen when knowledge gained touches the lives of hearts and minds of the children across Ladakh.DD
