Leh: DD, Additional District Development Commissioner (ADDC) Sonam Nurboo chaired a meeting in the VC Room of the DC Office regarding the celebration of the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign.
Addressing the SDMs and BDOs, who participated virtually, the ADDC urged them to encourage all households and merchants to hoist the National Flag with respect and pride in the run-up to Independence Day.
He further directed them to motivate merchant associations to ensure that flags are displayed prominently on all shops, market buildings, and even residential houses.
It was informed that flags will be made available on a payment basis through the NRLM and Tourism Department. The ADDC also instructed that the flag-hoisting activities be documented through photographs and videos and shared with the DIPR, Leh, for media coverage.
The meeting was attended by the AD Tourism, AD DIPR, DPM NRLM, and other concerned officials.DD
