Poonch: DD, Celebration of Rakshabandhan, school girls of Model Academy, Sagra and girls of Ari village in Mendhar tied Rakhis to station in the area.
The ceremony symbolized the bond of protection, unity, and community spirit between the sisters and soldiers.
A total of 30 girls, 11 civilians and teachers were present during the event. The event highlighted the strong connection between the local community and the Indian Army.
The school girls expressed their appreciation for the soldiers’ service and dedication to the nation, while the soldiers pledged to continue their efforts in safeguarding the community and the country.
Both the girls and the Army personnel enjoyed the celebration, which included the traditional Rakhi tying ceremony, and interactions. The event underscored the importance of community bonding and mutual respect.DD
