Udhampur Ramps up Security Measures Ahead of Crucial Vote Count

“SSP Nagpure Outlines Comprehensive Security Plan for Udhampur Election Counting”

Udhampur:TDD, In a proactive move to ensure the safe conduct of the upcoming General Assembly Election-2024 counting process, SSP Udhampur Amod Ashok Nagpure-IPS chaired a crucial security briefing session at DPL Udhampur today.
The meeting brought together key officers from District Police, Armed Police, and Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF) to strategize and coordinate security measures.

During the comprehensive briefing, SSP Nagpure outlined detailed plans for maintaining a peaceful environment throughout the counting process.
The officers were instructed on their specific roles and responsibilities, with a strong emphasis on effective coordination between District Police and CAPF personnel.
The session covered critical areas including security arrangements for strong rooms, communication strategies, crowd management techniques, and contingency planning for unforeseen events.

Following the briefing, a flag march was organized throughout the district, featuring participation from the District Police Udhampur, Armed Police, CRPF, and CISF. Led by Additional SP Udhampur and including SDPOs, SHOs, and ICPPs, the march served to demonstrate the preparedness of security forces and build public confidence.

SSP Nagpure stressed the importance of diligence and integrity in carrying out duties related to the election process. The District Police Udhampur also called upon the general public to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activities, underlining the collective responsibility in maintaining the integrity of the democratic process.

As Udhampur gears up for this crucial phase of the 2024 General Assembly Elections, these preparatory measures reflect the authorities’ commitment to ensuring a smooth, secure, and transparent counting process.TDD
