Jammu,DD: In a breakthrough, the Police Post Sainik Colony has solved a case registered at Police Station Channi Himmat.
The case was lodged by Advocate Deepak Singh Baloria, son of Rasal Singh Baloria resident of Sainik Colony Jammu, who reported that one person impersonating as official of municipality and took ₹15, 000 for spot verification.
Acting swiftly, the Jammu Police team, led by Incharge PP Sainik colony PSI Wasim Bhatti, SHO PS Channi Himmat Inspector Deepak Pathania, under the supervision of SDPO City East and SP City South, arrested the accused namely Zafar, son of Channi Rama near Armed Police Complex Jammu.
During interrogation, the accused disclosed that he along with one more person used to act as khilafarzi inspector and take money from locals of Sainik colony area where construction is going on.
The Channi Himmat Police’s prompt action and professional approach have ensured the apprehension of the accused, reflecting their commitment to maintaining law and order in the region.
In this incident FIR No 143/2025 under section 319(2)/3(5) BNS lodged at PS Channi Himmat and arrested the accused person in the instant case and further investigation is underway as their is involvement of more persons.DD
