Kishtwar:DD, Indian Army and the hiding terrorists have exchanged fire in the upper reaches of Kishtwar-Doda border.
“Alert troops of #WhiteKnightCorps at around 1 pm today, while carrying out an intelligence-based operation in the general area of Kishtwar, established contact with terrorists. Fire was exchanged with terrorists. Operation is in progress,” in a post on X, White Knight Corps of Indian Army.
The reporting claims that the search operation has been expanded, and intensified with the deployment of additional security forces in the difficult terrain where the terrorists are believed to be hiding.
The security forces have zeroed-in at the targeted area, and the operation is being conducted in a careful and coordinated manner using modern technology. Further details are awaited.DD
