UK, Canada & Australia recognise Palestine as a statehood

Israel – USA oppose such move

Diplomat Foreign Desk
LONDON:DD, The United Kingdom, Canada, and Australia together have come into coordination to recognize Palestine as a separate State just before the scheduled General Assembly Meet, this week.
As Israel has intensified its ground offence in Gaza City and ordered migration of the people from one place to another, the UK Prime Minister, Keir Starmer has also announced that his country would also recognize Palestinian state.

He hoped that peace would revive in Palastinians and Israelis with a two state solution.
In his statement, the Canadian Prime Minister, Mark Carney also announced that they would be recognizing Palestinian state, while supporting two state solutions i.e., State of Palestine and the State of Israel. Hence, Canada, UK and Australia have formally announced that they would recognize Palestine as a separate state.
As usual, Israel, and its United States have reportedly stated that recognizing Palestine as a state amid war in Gaza would be a “reward” for Hamas. (AGENCIES)
