KISHTWAR:DD, Additional SP Kishtwar, Pardeep Singh today carried out a drive against the traffic rule violators.
During the drive, a naka was laid by the Additional SP himself along with the police team here at Dak Bunglow Chowk.
The police checked the traffic rule violators, and challened a number of vehicles and seized several others for improper motor vehicles without documents like registration certification, insurance, pollution certificate, without registration number plates on vehilces/bikes, without helmets etc.
The people were also advised by the police on the occasion to follow the rules set vehicular traffic to avoid traffic jam, accidents, and hazardous parking in the market places.
The people have also commended the efforts of the District Police in carrying out the drive that would impose the rule of law and compel the violators to follow the traffic norms.DD
