Katra:DD, Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Sunday took part in a cleanliness drive at the Darshani Deodi of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine and lauded the role of women in nation-building.
Addressing the gathering, LG Sinha said, “Young girls and women have set a new benchmark. Nari Shakti is growing stronger each day. In schools today, girls are winning medals in all fields. This empowerment of women is the empowerment of the nation and a vital step towards ‘Viksit Bharat’.”
He emphasized that “women-led progress is shaping a new India and called upon citizens to support such initiatives in every sphere of life.” (KNC)
