Leh: DD, The district administration Leh on Thursday issued fresh orders allowing partial relaxation for commercial and educational activities within the district.
As per an order issued by Assistant Commissioner (Revenue), all shops and schools up to Class 8 shall remain open on Friday, October 3, 2025, between 10:00 AM and 06:00 PM.
Additionally, small passenger buses (public transport) will also be permitted to operate within Leh district during the same time window.
However, the administration has made it clear that these relaxations will be strictly governed under Section 163 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita 2023 (BNSS 2023), and all stakeholders must adhere to the restrictions specified therein. (KNC)
