Indian Army Organises Interaction with Ex-Servicemen at Samote, Rajouri

Rajouri:DD, As part of its ongoing commitment to maintaining close engagement with veterans, the Indian Army organized a comprehensive Ex-Servicemen Meet at Mandirgala.

The event was designed to foster dialogue and address issues related to healthcare, education, essential requirements and welfare measures for retired personnel and their families.

During the interactive session, the participating Ex-Servicemen were apprised of various welfare initiatives undertaken by the Indian Army, including healthcare schemes, educational support and other essential facilities aimed at improving their quality of life.

Special focus was given to the ‘Sadbhavana’ projects, highlighting initiatives implemented for the upliftment and development of local communities.

Veterans were encouraged to actively avail the benefits of these programs to enhance their well-being and that of their families.

The Ex-Servicemen expressed deep appreciation for the Indian Army’s sustained support and proactive measures for veteran welfare.

Many lauded the consistent efforts towards fostering stability and peace in the region while ensuring the welfare of those who have served the nation.

The meet reinforced the Indian Army’s enduring commitment to its veterans, strengthening bonds of trust, respect and camaraderie between the serving forces and retired personnel.DD
