Srinagar: DD, The Government of Jammu and Kashmir has ordered the constitution of a Capacity Building Unit (CBU) in the General Administration Department (GAD) to strengthen coordination and monitoring of capacity-building initiatives across departments.
As per the order issued by Commissioner/Secretary to the Government, M. Raju (IAS), the CBU will be chaired by the Commissioner/Secretary, GAD, and will include the Director, J&K IMPARD, as a member. Other members include the Special/Additional Secretary (Monitoring Section), Deputy Secretary (Monitoring Section), Under Secretary (Administration Section), and Section Officer (Monitoring Section) of the GAD.
The newly constituted unit will cater to the internal capacity-building needs of the GAD and serve as the central nodal body for facilitating and monitoring training and development programs across all government departments in the Union Territory.
The terms of reference for the CBU have been outlined in the annexure attached to the official order. (KNC)
