Chief Secretary Reviews Preparations for Conduct of LSSSSB Examination

Leh, DD, The Chief Secretary/ Chairman, LSSSSB UT of Ladakh, Dr. Pawan Kotwal, chaired a review meeting to assess the readiness and arrangements for the conduct of the Ladakh Subordinate Services Staff Selection Board (LSSSSB) examination, tentatively scheduled for November 2025.

During the meeting, detailed deliberations were held on key issues related to the ongoing recruitment process.

The Chief Secretary/Chairman, LSSSSB, reviewed the progress of candidates re-uploading their photographs and signatures as per the prescribed standards and discussed cases of ineligible candidates.

The meeting also reviewed the proposed schedule and logistical arrangements for the examinations, including the identification of examination centres within Leh and Kargil city, installation of CCTV cameras at each centre, and strict adherence to detailed Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure a seamless and transparent conduct of examinations.

The LSSSSB examinations are scheduled to be held on 16th, 23rd, and 30th November 2025.

The Chief Secretary/ Chairman, instructed the Board to conduct a full mock exercise prior to the examination to identify and address potential issues.

He reiterated that the entire recruitment process must be carried out in a fair, transparent, and accountable manner, ensuring equal opportunity and maintaining public confidence in the selection process.DD
