Jammu : DD, G B Pant Cantonment General Hospital, Jammu, today marked a significant milestone in its journey towards providing quality healthcare services to the community. President Cantt Board Jammu, in presence of Shri Amit Kumar Mane, IDES, Chief Executive Officer, Cantonment Board Jammu, along with officers and staff from the hospital and Cantonment Board office inaugurated the hospital’s first-ever X-Ray Unit on 13th Oct 25, a major step towards enhancing diagnostic capabilities and patient care.
Developed under a Public-Private Partnership (PPP) this initiative will provide affordable diagnostic services to the local population at rates lower than prevailing market prices.
The X-Ray Unit’s establishment is a major leap forward in the hospital’s modernization efforts, bridging a significant gap in diagnostic services. This facility will reduce patient dependence on outside diagnostic centers, providing timely and cost-effective services within the hospital premises.
This X-Ray Unit is a testament to the efforts towards upgrading infrastructure and enhancing patient care and has a positive impact on the healthcare landscape of Jammu, benefiting patients and their families.DD
