Bank of Baroda Inaugurates a New Branch in Skalzangling

Leh, DD, Bank of Baroda, one of India’s leading public sector banks, inaugurated a new branch in the Skalzangling area of Leh to promote financial inclusion, economic empowerment, and the expansion of modern banking services.

This newly opened branch aims to provide residents with safe, transparent, and convenient banking facilities. The branch was inaugurated by Mr. Hardeep Singh, General Manager and Zonal Head, Ludhiana Zone. On this occasion, Mr. Sunny Chawla, Regional Head from the Amritsar Region, was also present.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Hardeep Singh stated that although Bank of Baroda already operates a digital branch in this area, the growing needs of the local population and valuable customer feedback highlighted the necessity of establishing a fully equipped physical branch to meet their banking requirements directly.

He added that the Bank remains committed to making banking services accessible to every section of society, particularly senior citizens, small business owners, and stomers who face challenges in digital banking. The new branch will ensure that They can now easily avail themselves of personalized and inclusive banking services.

Several local dignitaries and customers were also present at the inauguration ceremony.DD
