Jammu:DD, Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) Mookherjee Nagar, Jammu, organized a grand Vijaydashmi Route March as part of its 100 years of selfless service to the nation and society.
The full-dress route march by nearly 200 Swayamsevaks commenced from Kabir Shakha (Poonch House, Talab Tillo) and passed through the main market and residential areas of Talab Tillo, proceeding via Akhnoor Road and Kamla Palace Link Road before culminating back at the Kabir Shakha Park. The disciplined and spirited participation of Swayamsevaks, dressed in the traditional RSS uniform, drew attention and admiration from onlookers along the route, who also showered flower petals on the Swayamsevaks during march.

Before the commencement of the route march, Sanjay ji, RSS Pracharak, presently serving as Prant College Vidyarthi Pramukh in Jammu, delivered an enlightening Bodhik (intellectual address).
He narrated the glorious history of the RSS and its foundational vision laid by Dr. Keshav Baliram Hedgewar, who established the organization on Vijaydashmi in 1925 to unite and strengthen the nation.

Sanjay emphasized the importance of the RSS ideology in today’s context, highlighting how it continues to inspire millions towards character-building, national integration, and social harmony.
He elaborated on the “Panch Parivartan” (Five Transformations) envisioned by RSS as it moves toward its centenary year, Samajik Samrasta (promoting social inclusiveness and harmony), Kutumb Prabodhan (family awakening and enlightenment), Paryavaran (environmental protection), Nagarik Kartavya (civic responsibility), and Swadeshi (self-reliance).

He stressed that the RSS works tirelessly to instill patriotism and discipline among citizens, motivate youth to contribute selflessly to society, and assist those in distress, thus strengthening the foundation of Maa Bharati as Vishwa Guru.

Prominent personalities present on the occasion included Darshan ji, Mookherjee Zila Sanghachalak, Surinder ji, Nagar Karyavah, Sahdev ji, Zila Vyavastha Pramukh, Rajiv ji, and several other dedicated Swayamsevaks.

The event beautifully reflected the Sangh’s unwavering commitment to service, unity, and national resurgence, reaffirming its century-old mission of building a strong, harmonious, and self-reliant Bharat.DD
