Ramban:DD, As part of the observance of Vigilance Awareness Week, Ramban Police organized a pledge-taking ceremony across all Police Stations, Police Posts, and the District Police Lines (DPL) Ramban.
The Integrity Pledge for Organizations was administered by Arun Gupta, JKPS, Senior Superintendent of Police, Ramban, to officers and jawans at the District Police Lines.
While addressing the participants, SSP Ramban highlighted the significance of the pledge and emphasized that the main objective of organizing such programmes is to reaffirm the collective commitment of the Police Department towards eradicating corruption and promoting integrity, transparency, and good governance in all spheres of policing and public service.
He further stressed that as an organization, the police must lead by example in upholding ethical values and maintaining the highest standards of professional conduct to earn and preserve public trust.
Similar programmes were also organized across the district, where respective SDPOs and SHOs administered the Integrity Pledge to police personnel and staff at their respective units.DD
