“Kashmir’s Love Has Filled My Heart”: Bollywood Actor Mukesh Rishi Praises Valley, Invites Film Industry to Visit

Says, Minor Incidents Happen, But Our Nation and People Are Strong

Srinagar:DD, Bollywood actor Mukesh Rishi on Friday said that he was deeply touched by the love and affection shown by the people of Kashmir during his visit.

Speaking to reporters on the sidelines of the “Run for Unity” organised by J&K Police at Ghanta Ghar, Lal Chowk, Mukesh as per news agency Kashmir News Corner — KNC said he was overwhelmed by the warmth and affection he received during his visit to the Valley.

“I am so happy, Lal Chowk looks radiant. Seeing so much love has made my heart race,” Mukesh Rishi said.

“I want to tell my colleagues from the film industry: come here. The people of Kashmir are with you, the government is with you, and the police are with you. You will enjoy visiting Kashmir,” he said.

On the improving situation in the region, he said: “Incidents happen, but our country and our people are strong. When they travel, their hearts open to others. The respect for Kashmir is deep in everyone’s hearts.”

Paying tribute to those who lost their lives in past violence, Mukesh Rishi expressed condolences and said their memories should inspire unity. “People should meet one another Kashmir is ours, Bombay is ours, Delhi is ours,” he added.

The actor’s appearance at the event which drew large crowds and prominent officials was greeted enthusiastically by participants, who welcomed his appeal for greater cultural engagement with the Valley. (KNC)
