Education Department commences Pre-Board exams for Classes 10th and 12th

Jammu,DD,Striving towards excellence, the Department of Education commenced the 2nd Pre-Board Examination for Classes 10th and 12th today on 24 November. The Pre-Board began today with the Class 12 English examination being conducted at 26 designated centers in Kargil district and 22 designated centers in Leh district.

To provide students with a CBSE-like experience, the Department has introduced OMR sheets and question papers in series. The question papers have been designed to closely align with the CBSE pattern and difficulty level. This exercise is expected to greatly benefit students by giving them a real-time feel of the upcoming board examinations.

In addition to Center Superintendents and Invigilators at all the centers, this time the Department also deployed Observors to inspect and ensure the smooth functioning of the exams at the designated centers. Almost all the centers were equipped with CCTV cameras for transparency.DD
