SOTTO J&K organizes Poster Making Competition

Jammu: DD, State Organ and Tissue Transplant Organization (SOTTO) J&K has organised a Poster Making Competition on the theme “Organ Donation – Angdaan, Jeevan Sanjeevani Abhiyaan” at the Institute of Music & Fine Arts (IMFA), University of Jammu.
The event was a part of SOTTO’s ongoing endeavour to engage youth in awareness activities and promote the life-saving message of organ donation.
The programme was hosted in collaboration with IMFA under the guidance of Dr. Elias Sharma, HOD Urology and Nodal Officer SOTTO J&K.
Prof. Shohab Inayat Malik, Principal IMFA and HOD Urdu, appreciated SOTTO’s sustained efforts in sensitizing the public on this humanitarian cause.
Dr. Milan Sharma, HOD, Department of Painting, encouraged students to use their artistic talent to influence society positively and highlight the importance of organ donation.


The students from various disciplines of IMFA participated enthusiastically, presenting impactful and visually compelling posters that captured the essence of compassion, hope, and the gift of life associated with organ donation.
Dr. Poonam Mahajan, Joint Director, SOTTO J&K expressed gratitude to IMFA for its cooperation and emphasized the need for continued awareness initiatives, especially among educational institutions, to build a supportive environment for organ donation across the UT.

Bharti Verma, 4th year, Painting Department was adjudged the best among 43 participants while Ramanpreet Kaur, 3rd year, Applied Arts Department and Sukanya, 3rd year, Applied Arts Department secured 2nd and 3rd positions respectively.
The winners were felicitated for their outstanding creative expressions, and certificates of participation were awarded to all participants.

Ankush Kesar, Print maker / Artist, Department of painting, Sukhjeet Singh, Senior Instructor, IMFA, Anshu Sharma, Consultant (IEC/Media), SOTTO J&K, Irfan Ahmad Lone, Transplant Coordinator, SOTTO J&K, Nisha Kumari, Data Entry Operator, SOTTO J&K and Driver SOTTO Ashwani Kumar and Ashok Singh.DD
