Doda, DD, Deputy Inspector General of Police, DKR Range, Sh. Shridhar Patil-IPS, graced the Annual Day celebrations of Police Public School, Doda as the chief guest.
During the vibrant cultural programme, students performed various acts, including the thought-provoking skit “Old Age Home”, which received wide appreciation. The DIGP felicitated meritorious students securing 1st, 2nd, and 3rd positions in the annual academic examinations with trophies and medals.
Highlighting future plans for the school, the DIGP announced the commencement of Class 9th from the next academic session and confirmed that all necessary arrangements have been completed. In a boost to sports activities, he also revealed the procurement of archery equipment worth ₹6 lakh, enabling students to compete at national and international levels.
The DIGP further informed that a new school building in Beoli, Doda is under construction and the school will be shifted to the new premises upon completion.
The function was attended by DC Doda Sh. Harvinder Singh-IAS; SSP Doda Sh. Sandeep Mehta, JKPS; SP Ops Doda; DySP DAR Doda; ADO DPO Doda, along with school staff, parents, police officers, and prominent citizens.DD
