KISHTWAR: DD, At least four pilgrims, including a minor child, were killed in a tragic road accident at Sarthal Gurash in Kishtwar district.
According to reports, the driver of the vehicle carrying pilgrims to the Sarthal Devi Temple lost control, causing the vehicle to skid off the road and plunge into a gorge.
A rescue operation was launched immediately, and the injured were shifted to a hospital, where four of them — including the minor — were declared dead.
The deceased have been identified as Ranjeet Singh of Mangal Thatta, Dessa; his wife Jyoti Devi; and their 18-month-old child. The identity of the fourth victim is yet to be confirmed.
Police have initiated an inquest into the incident.DD
