Washington:DD, The White House has been pushing for bilateral talks between Egypt and Israel following truce in the Gaza war that lasted for almost two years.
The war has left Palestine devastated with displacement of thousands of people, and loss of unaccounted human lives following the Oct 7 attack in Israel by the Hamas fighters.
The truce in Gaza was possible with the active intervention of the US that allowed humanitarian aid in the ward torne City of Palestine.
Following the ceasefire, the White House has geared up to ensure that Israel re-establish cordial relations with the neighbouring Arab nations, like Egypt, Jordan etc.
Accordingly, a meeting is being planned between Egypt’s President, Abdul Fateh Al Sisi, following the Gaza war, and Israeli Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu.
The plan is being framed to boost the economy, and improve relations with the Arab neighbours. (Media Reports).
