Kishtwar, DD, Under the directions of Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar Sh. Pankaj Kumar Sharma(JKAS), the Assistant Commissioner Development (ACD) Kishtwar, Sh. Manoj Kumar, JKAS, who is also holding the additional charge of Project Manager, IWMP Kishtwar, today conducted a special review of ongoing works under PMKSY 2.0 in Panchayats Affani and Jar of Block Paddar.
During the visit, the ACD inspected the progress and quality of various watershed and natural resource management (NRM) works being executed under the scheme.
He also participated in a Gram Sabha convened to assess ground-level implementation and gather feedback from the local community regarding project outcomes.
In the Gram Sabha, an additional action plan was also formulated in consultation with local inhabitants, focusing on the actual needs and priorities of the villagers to ensure sustainable and effective management of natural resources.
The ACD emphasized participatory planning for better execution and long-term benefits of the interventions under PMKSY 2.0.
The ACD was accompanied by Sh. Rajesh Kumar Sharma, BDO Paddar, Sh. Sanjay Sharma, and other officials of the Department of Rural Development and Panchayati Raj (DoRD&PR) during the visit.DD
