J&K Police’s Sub-Inspector Stabbed by Goons in Jammu

Jammu: A Sub-Inspector of Jammu and Kashmir Police was stabbed by a group of goons here at Guraj Morh, Jammu.
The injured police officer has been identified as SI Nitin Khajuria and he was posted as Investigating Officer, Police Station Bakshi Nagar.
As per the preliminary investigation, Nitin was attacked and stabbed with sharp edged weapons around 8.30 pm last night at Gurrah Morh by a group of goons.
Police have identified the goons as Rishab, Munna D, and two unknown individuals, who had come in a Black colour THAR JK02-DR-6351 that had stopped SI Nitin and attacked him with a tokka (a sharp object), while threatening the police officer with a pistol.
“In this incident, the police officer was alone and he was stabbed multiple times. He was rushed to the hospital at GMC Jammu,” said the police.
Meanwhile, a manhunt was launched against the absconding accused persons, following the registration of FIR under number 158 of 2025 under relevant sections of law that have been registered at Police Station Bakshi Nagar, Jammu. Further investigation is underway.DD
