Kishtwar: In a bid to check the terror related activities, the troops of Indian Army’s Assam Rifles conducted an extensive search operation in the Keshwan Saranwar area of Kishtwar.
These searches were conducted in the difficult terrain to enforce a sense of security among the local residents.
The search operation was part of the anti-terror activities that are conducted with the support of the local population in the area where the people have always come forefront to counter the terror activities.
Accordingly, the local religious scholars and the locals are actively helping the Indian Army troops that keep the Assam Rifles to defeat the nefarious design of the anti-national elements.
In one of the glaring examples, the locals informed that they want Kishtwar and the Chenab Valley to remain peaceful, and no one in the district supports the terrorists.
“If any suspicious activity is noticed, we inform the Indian Army that often comes to our rescue, and helps us in all the situations wherever authorities fail to support,” said another local.
Meanwhile, the Army has assured all possible support to the locals.DD
