Security Wing of J&K Police Reviews Overall Performance in 2025

Jammu: An impressive Annual Award Function was organized here at the Security Headquarters J&K, Jammu.
The function was presided over by Sujit Kumar, IPS, Inspector General of Police, Security J&K.
The event was attended in person by SSP Security Jammu, Commandants of Jammu-based Security Battalions, Commandant JKAP 3rd/12th Battalion, SSP Civil Secretariat J&K, SSP PTWS J&K, and other Gazetted Officers of the Security Wing.
SSP Security Kashmir, Commandant JKAP 11th Battalion, along with other Gazetted Officers, attended the function through virtual mode.
During the function, IGP Security J&K delivered a comprehensive briefing, highlighting the targets achieved by the Security Wing during the year 2025, key operational milestones, and the overall performance of subordinate units.
He lauded the dedication, professionalism and unwavering commitment displayed by officers and personnel in the successful accomplishment of assigned duties throughout the year, despite challenging operational conditions.
A colourful yet dignified award ceremony was held on the occasion, during which the best performers of the year 2025 were felicitated with mementos and Commendation Certificates.
The awards were conferred in recognition of their exemplary services, outstanding performance and significant contribution towards strengthening and maintaining the security apparatus.
The event concluded on a note of motivation and renewed resolve, with the IGP Security J&K exhorting all ranks to continue to discharge their duties with the same zeal, integrity and professionalism in the coming year, in furtherance of the mandate and objectives of the Security Wing.DD
