Srinagar,(TDD): Chief Minister Omar Abdullah, today visited the grieving family of Dr. Shahnawaz Ahmad Dar, one of the victims of the deadly terror attack that took place at a construction site in Gagangeer, Sonamarg, on Sunday evening. Six others were also killed in the tragic incident.
Omar Abdullah was accompanied by his advisor Nasir Aslam Wani, MLA Khansahib Saif-ud-din Bhat, and other officials during the visit.
Speaking to the media, MLA Saif-ud-din Bhat shared that Omar Abdullah extended his heartfelt condolences to the family and personally assured Dr. Shahnawaz’s son that he would cover all his education expenses.
The attack, which claimed seven lives including that of Dr. Shahnawaz, occurred late Sunday evening in Gagangeer, leaving the region in shock.(TDD)
