Two pedestrians knocked to death in Kishtwar

KISHTWAR: TDD ,Two pedestrians were today knocked to death by a tipper on the busy road in Kishtwar.
“The road mishap occurred when the tipper driver allegedly lost control over the vehicle, and it hit two pedestrians at Drabshalla in Kishtwar, critically wounding both of them,” said the locals.
They said that the injured were evacuated to the hospital where the injured were pronounced dead.
The deceased persons have been identified as Bilal Ahmed, son of Ghulam Mustafa, and Ishrat Hussain, son of Mohammed Hanief, both the residents of Changa, Doda.
Meanwhile, the police have started an investigation into the tragic road accident. The driver is still at large.
The unconfirmed reports claim that the tipper had allegedly gone out of control because of ‘break fail.’
However, the matter is under investigation and a factual situation is yet to unfold following the police probe..TDD
