Kishtwar,TDD, The Integrated Child Development Services (ICDS) Department organized an awareness camp in Panchayat Lower Chatroo A, Inderwal Block.
The event, led by Child Development Project Officer (CDPO) Inderwal, Kuldeep Kumar, and CDPO Nagseni, Najeeb Latief, with Supervisor Shenaz Nazir and under the guidance of Programme Officer ICDS, Rishi Sharma KAS was attended by Anganwadi workers and beneficiaries from across the block.
The camp focused on saturating the ICDS Department’s key welfare schemes, including the Ladli Beti scheme and Pradhan Mantri Matru Vandana Yojana (PMMVY)Anganwadi workers were briefed on conducting door-to-door awareness drives to ensure that information about these schemes reaches all eligible beneficiaries in the area and no eligible beneficiary is left out.
Panchayat Lower Chatroo A has been designated as one Model Panchayat across the District by Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar Rajesh Shavan, KAS, with a target of saturating 78 key indicators of various departments. Aligned with this vision, the ICDS Department is actively working to saturate its schemes and indicators within these panchayats, ensuring comprehensive support for women and children.
This awareness camp is part of ICDS’s ongoing efforts to ensure that eligible individuals in the Inderwal block benefit fully from government welfare schemes, contributing to improved social and economic outcomes in the region.TDD
