UDHAMPUR :TDD, A two day seminar cum awareness programme on Academic Bank of Credit (ABC ID)- its creation and importance for
the newly enrolled girl students of Government Women College, Udhampur concluded here today at the college campus.
The programme was organized by IQAC in collaboration with ABC ID committee under the guidance and patronage of Prof (Dr.) Nalini
Pathania, Principal, Government College for Women(GCW), Udhampur.
Principal Prof (Dr.) Nalini Pathania highlighted the importance of the theme in the Academic life of the students and stressed upon the
participants to be registered and to create their ABC IDs .
Earlier, Prof Indu Khajuria (Convenor IQAC) presented the welcome address and Resource person of the occasion were Prof Rachna Bharti
Convenor (ABC ID Committee) and Prof Pardeep Singh HOD of Education Department. The Students were sensitized about the credit system in education and ABC ID. Also the steps to create ABC ID and its importance in the Academic carrer of a student were thoroughly
discussed among the students. Further ABC IDs of the students were created and all the queries and difficulties of students were sorted
out in this seminar.
The event was filled with enthusiasm and energy of the newly enrolled students who attended this seminar very attentively and successfully
created their own ABC IDs. The session was followed by round of questions and queries by the students and their curiosity was
satisfied with the able guidance and knowledge of the resource persons. A large number of newly enrolled students attended this
seminar for two days and successfully created their own ABC IDs.
The Members of IQAC and ABC ID committee coordinated and concluded the 2 day programme the 2 days seminar ended with a vote of thanks by Prof Indu Khajuria Convenor IQAC, GCW Udhampur.TDD
