“Guru Nanak Dev Ji’s Teachings of Brotherhood Stand As Relevant Today”: Tariq Hameed Karra

Jammu,TDD,On the pious occasion of Guru Nanak dev ji Jayanti, today J&K Congress President and MLA, Shri Tariq Hameed Karra, along with senior leaders Working President Raman Bhalla, Former Minister Yogesh Sawhney, Ex-MLC Ved Mahajan, Amolak Singh, and other senior party leaders, visited Gurudwara Guru Nanak Dev Ji at Chand Nagar, Jammu. The leaders offered prayers and paid their respects, marking the day with a message of peace ,brotherhood & unity. They paid obeisance at the Gurudwara and offered prayers, extending wishes to the community on this day.
Alongside Tariq Hameed Karra, Raman Bhalla, Yogesh Sawhney, Ved Mahajan, TS Tony, Neeraj Gupta, Amolak Singh, Anirudh Sawhney GS Youth Congress, Sardar Parveen Sing, Sardar Rajinder Singh, HS Mehta, Bitty, Anmol Kohli, Mehul Abrol and others were present.
Speaking on the occasion, Hon’ble MLA and JKPCC President Jb. Tariq Hameed Karra stated that Guru Nanak Dev Jayanti is an important day for the community across the world. He added that Guru Nanak Dev Ji’s teachings stand very relevant in today’s atmosphere, particularly his emphasis on Brotherhood. Today should serve as a reminder that brotherhood is very important in J&K and across the nation in the environment that has been prevelant. We should emphasize his principles of equality, compassion, and selfless service, urging everyone to follow the path of harmony and brotherhood. We want to remember Guru Nanak Dev Ji by promoting these values across the region.
The senior Congress leaders further spoke on their commitment to respecting and celebrating the principles laid down by Guru ji and called for collective efforts to strengthen communal harmony and uphold the spirit of mutual respect in the society.TDD
