Jammu:TDD,On 06-11-2024, a complaint was lodged at Police Station Peer Mitha by a complainant nemely Vinay Handa S/o Ravi Nand Handa R/o H.No. BC 272 Jogi Gate Shahidi Chowk, Jammu regarding a theft incident in a dwelling house within the jurisdiction.
Upon receiving the complaint, an FIR No. 62/2024 was registered under sections 331(4) and 305(a) of the BNS at Police Station Peer Mitha, and an investigation was initiated without delay.
To expedite the investigation, a dedicated team was constituted under the close supervision of SDPO City North, Jammu. The team, led by SHO Police Station Peer Mitha and assisted by other officers, worked diligently under the guidance of SP City North, Jammu.
Through relentless efforts and meticulous investigation, the police team successfully apprehended the accused namely Mohd Yaseen S/o Mohd Yousaf R/o Sana Bati Tehsil Ukbral District Ramban involved in the theft.
The swift action and concerted efforts by the team resulted in the quick resolution of the case, showcasing the commitment of Jammu Police towards ensuring the safety and security of the public. The accused is currently in police custody, and further investigation is ongoing.
