Jammu, TDD: Promising athletes of Sainik School Nagrota put up an outstanding performance at the Jammu District level Athletics Meet held at Jammu University from September 6-10 Sep 2024. Competing with remarkable skill and determination, the cadets made a clean sweep of medals in U-14 and U-17 categories with an overall tally of 08 Gold, 08 Silver and 03 Bronze medals. Several of the athletes have been selected to represent Jammu district at the Divisional Level Inter-District Competitions to be held at Reasi subsequently. Prominent among the winners are:
Cdt Sneha Vishwakarma (Class 8) – Gold Medal in Long Jump (U-14)
Cdt Kriti Sharma (Class 8) – Gold Medal in Triple Jump (U-17)
Cdt Shivam (Class 8) – Gold Medal in Long Jump (U-14)
Cdt Raghav Chib (Class 10) – Gold Medal in 3000m (U-17)
Cdt Rudra Ranjan (Class 7) – Gold Medal in 400m (U-14)
Cdt Saksham Verma (Class 11) – Gold Medal in Triple Jump (U-17)
Cdt Ayush Kumar (Class 8) – Gold Medal in 600m (U-14)
Cdt Vikash Yadav (Class 8) Gold Medal in High Jump (U-14)
In a congratulatory message to the cadets, Capt (IN) Shibu Devasia, Principal, Sainik School Nagrota, commended them for their exceptional performance and expressed pride in their achievements.
