Udhampur : TDD ,Jammu and Kashmir’s Udhampur Police arrested a notorious and most wanted drug peddler and recovered 10 grams of heroin (chitta) like contraband substance from his possession in the jurisdiction of Police Station Udhampur.
Police team from Police Station Udhampur led by Station house officer Police station Udhampur while performing patrolling duty apprehended one person from Zero Morh Jakhar area who turned to be suspicious as he tried to move fast towards Zero morh side after seeing police party for checking purpose.
On frisking of said apprehended person, 10 grams of heroin (chitta) like Contraband substance was recovered from the possession of the apprehended person namely Des Raj @ Desu S/O Parma R/O Jakhad, Udhampur who has been arrested on spot.
On this, a case vide FIR No. 464/2024 U/S 8/21/22/ NDPS Act stands registered in P/S Udhampur and further investigation was set into probe.TDD
