Indian Army organises plantation drive near LoC in Mendhar

Mendhar: TDD,Balnoi Bn under the aegis of Krishna Ghati Bde conducted a Tree Plantation Drive near Line of control in Balnoi area of Mendhar. The campaign was conducted in collaboration with J & K Forest Deptt. Shri Karar Jafri, Block Forest Offr, Mendhar attended the event. A total of 500 trees were planted to spread awareness about the importance of planting trees in order to contribute to global reforestation & repairing the damaged ecosystems to mitigate climate changes.TDD
