Mendhar,TDD :An anti-drug awareness campaign was organized by Bimber Gali Brigade in villages ahead of the fence close to the LC with the noble aim to educate and sensitize the community about the dangers of drug abuse.
The campaign commenced with an Anti-Drug Awareness March where participants from various walks of life joined hands to raise awareness against the menace of drug abuse. Inter-school Poster Making competition was organised in multiple schools ahead of the fence. This was followed by a thought-provoking Nukkad Natak performance by Nav Durga Kala Manch, conveying the message in an engaging and entertaining manner.
Expert insights were shared by doctors from the Health Department, highlighting the physical and mental health implications of drug abuse. A movie screening showcased the struggles of individuals and families affected by drug addiction.
The campaign witnessed active participation from local residents, with over 350 civilians attending the program. The enthusiastic response highlights the community’s commitment to fighting against drug abuse.
