Jammu :TDD, Stating that BJP has became world’s largest political party and the credit goes to the party cadre, which always remains at the beck and call of the people.
Jammu and Kashmir BJP president, Sat Sharma, said this while speaking in a joint meeting of the former councillors of Jammu Municipal Corporation and Cantonment Board, at party headquarters, Trikuta Nagar, Jammu.
Sat Sharma said that BJP is not just a political party to contest the elections and knock doors of the voters during poll times but an organization working on the principle of nation first and its cadre is visible in every nook and corner to educate the people about various welfare schemes of the government, help them in availing their benefits, besides making them aware about the dynastic politics of other parties.
“While the BJP has achieved the distinction of registering record number of members, it feels pride in claiming that the voters in the country too are strengthening it through their votes as they are convinced that the nation has fast moved on the path of development in all fields, bringing progress and prosperity’ during the last over ten years under PM Narendra Modi” Sat said, adding that in Jammu and Kashmir too BJP has created history by securing 26 per cent of votes, higher than NC.
Dr. Devinder Kumar Manyal, BJP general secretary & MLA, said that the ground strength of the party reflects and affects the elections and every activist must involve himself in mass contact in their respective areas.
Vibodh Gupta, BJP general secretary & former MLC, said that the party has government at the centre under PM Modi for the third consecutive term and the contribution of every karyakarta in taking it to new heights is remarkable.
Rajinder Sharma, former Mayor, said that the councillors are closer to the people in their respective wards and hence can become a strong bridge between the party and the people.
Baldev Singh Billawaria, former Deputy Mayor, said that every councillor of the BJP, during his/her term, did best for the development and cleanliness of their ward and the party will win more seats in next elections of JMC.
