JAMMU: TDD,A significant meeting of the Youth Brigade of the National Conference (NC) Students Wing was held today under the leadership of Dr. Gazala Noor, Working President of the National Conference Students Wing, at Sher-e-Kashmir Bhawan in Jammu. The meeting was addressed by Rattan Lal Gupta, Provincial President of J&K National Conference and Sheikh Bashir Ahmad Provincial Secretary along with Saqib Kitchloo Provincial Secretary NCSU, Balbir Singh NCSU, and attended by a large number of enthusiastic Students.
At the beginning of the meeting, Dr. Gazala Noor shed light on the numerous challenges faced by students due to the anti-youth policies implemented by the previous government in Jammu and Kashmir. She emphasized the need for a youth-centric approach to overcome these obstacles and create a more conducive environment for students’ growth and development.
Addressing the gathering, Rattan Lal Gupta emphasized the party’s unwavering commitment to empowering the youth and modernizing the education system. He stressed the importance of fostering innovation and personality development among students.
“The National Conference has always prioritized youth empowerment. The present government headed by Chief Minister Omar Abdullah is taking transformative steps to enhance education and create better opportunities for the younger generation. With a focus on youth empowerment and modernization, the National Conference is steadfast in its commitment to fulfilling the aspirations of the Students.”
Rattan Lal Gupta also called for upgraded hostel facilities and creation of conducive environments for students to thrive academically and personally. He urged the youth to channelize their energy towards constructive endeavors and take advantage of the educational reforms introduced by the NC Govt.
Sheikh Bashir Ahmad Provincial Secretary Jammu, underlined the need to establish more units of the Students Wing across the region. He stated, “Expanding the organization will help us address the challenges faced by youth more effectively and ensure their voices are heard. We must work together to build a brighter future.”
Later, several students, impressed by the progressive policies of the National Conference, joined the party fold, expressing their support for the party’s commitment to youth empowerment and educational reforms.
The meeting concluded with a pledge by the National Conference Students Wing to work tirelessly for the betterment of educational facilities and to serve as a strong voice for the aspirations of the younger generation.
