Sanatan Dharm Sabha Kishtwar Condemns the Killing of Minorities in BangladeshCalls for Immediate Action

Kishtwar, TDD, Various Hindu organizations today took out protest rally in Kishtwar town against the rising persecution of minority Hindus in Bangladesh.
The demonstration, spearheaded by Sanatan Dharam Sabha Kishtwar, began with a march from Shaheedi Smark at Kokila Chowk, Kuleed to the DC office.
Around 1000 participants covered the 700-metre distance.
Upon arriving at the district headquarters, protesters voiced their concerns about the lawless situation and called for strict action on the Bangladeshi Jahadies and advocated for international sanctions against Bangladesh.
While speaking on the occasion Mahant Ram Sharan Dass of Gori Shankar Mandir Sarkoot condemned the recent targeted killings of minorities in Bangladesh. He warned that All Hindu organizations in India are ready to teach bitter lesson to the fundamentalists in that country and if such acts are not stopped immediately they would have to repent and threatened that Hindus will not stop themselves to March towards Bangladesh to save their brethren. He further said that these heinous acts not only violate the sanctity of life but also undermine the principles of equality, diversity, and harmony that are essential to any just society.
Ram Sevak Sharma, a renowned educationist and social worker advocated for justice and human rights, strongly condemns the recent targeted killings of minorities. MLA Kishtwar, Shagun Parihar, while condemning the atrocities on Hindus in Bangladesh highlighted reports of sexual violence and brutal killings against Hindu women besides vandalizing the properties of minorities in Bangladesh and hoped for immediate government intervention. We all are outraged by these atrocities on minorities by Islamic fundamentalists in Bangladesh and stand in solidarity with the victims and their families,” said Ms Parihar. “Such acts of violence are not isolated incidents but reflect deeper systemic issues and well planned conspiracy that require immediate and sustained action.”
In the end, MLA Nagseni Padder Constituency Sunil Sharma strongly advocated their support in favour of minorities in Bangladesh. He said that the systematic targeting and violence against minority communities is a grave affront to human dignity. It is a reminder of the urgent need for our government, civil society, and international organizations to stand united in upholding human rights and ensuring the safety of all individuals, regardless of their race, religion, or ethnicity.
He further added and showed his full confidence towards central govt. and said that Modi govt.is strong enough to see to it that justice is done and the perpetrators face legal action from international court of justice,”

While concluding the protest Dharna, Arvind Parihar acting president of Sanatan Dharm Sabha also asked for Immediate action against desecration of Indian national flags in Bangladesh, protection of minorities, and ensuring the safety of their leaders, homes, and properties.
“We hope that International community will take these concerns seriously and ensure the safety and dignity of all minority communities in Bangladesh.’’

In the end, a memorandum was handed over to Dist. Magistrate R.K Shavan for forwarding the same to President of Bharat in which few Key concerns were highlighted:
Escalation of Targeted Violence: Several Hindu temples, homes, and businesses have been vandalized, and individuals subjected to attacks, posing a direct threat to their religious and cultural existence.
Violation of Human Rights: Acts of violence and social ostracism are infringing on their fundamental rights to life, liberty, and religious freedom.
Neglect of Justice: A lack of adequate action from local authorities in Bangladesh has exacerbated the situation, leaving the victims vulnerable and without recourse.
An open appeal was also made by the protesters regarding
Diplomatic Intervention: Engage with the Government of Bangladesh to ensure the safety, security, and rehabilitation of the Hindu community.
International Advocacy: Raise this issue in international forums, including the United Nations, to garner global support for protecting minorities in Bangladesh.
Humanitarian Assistance: Provide necessary aid and support to affected individuals and families, including avenues for asylum or resettlement in India, if needed.
Monitoring Mechanism: Establish a bilateral mechanism to monitor and address minority-related grievances effectively.TDD
