9th Blood Donation Camp in Memory of Founder Chairman Late Dr. Roop Lal Sharma organized

Jammu , TDD,9th Blood Donation Camp was organized by Trikuta Group of Colleges, Jammu in memory its Founder Chairman Late Dr. Roop Lal Sharma on his birth anniversary.
The blood donation camp was inaugurated by Sham Lal Sharma, the MLA of Jammu North Assembly Constituency. A highly respected figure in the community, Sharma’s presence lent great significance to the occasion.
A total of 80 volunteers from various colleges, including teaching staff, non-teaching staff, students, post-graduate scholars and interns came forward to donate blood, demonstrating their commitment to this noble cause. The camp saw enthusiastic participation from individuals of all ages and backgrounds showcasing the community’s spirit of giving and service.

Suman Sharma, the Chairperson of Shri Sain Charitable Trust, addressed the gathering and urged the public to come forward and contribute voluntarily to such life-saving initiatives. She expressed her heartfelt desire to continue organizing such blood donation camps in the future furthering the trust’s mission to promote health and social welfare. Mrs. Sharma also took the opportunity to extend her appreciation to the students and staff members of the colleges under the Trust for their active involvement and dedication to this important cause.
The event was graced by the presence of several dignitaries, including the Managing Directors of the Trust, Ritesh Sharma and Ravish Sharma, as well as the Principals of the various colleges under the Trust. The CEOs of the Trust, Dr. Nitin Mahajan, Japna Sharma, and Jasudha Sharma, were also present to offer their support.
The blood donation camp was organized in collaboration with key medical institutions and organizations, including the Jammu Blood Centre (Greater Kailash), Blood Bank – BEE ENN General Hospital Jammu, and the Jammu Blood Donors and Welfare Society (NGO). Their support was instrumental in making this event a success and ensuring that the donated blood could be used to save lives in the community.TDD
