Udhampur :TDD, The jammu and Kashmir women’s development corporation organized an awareness camp cum loan mela at Sunari,Kambal danga udhampur which was sponsored by National Minorities Development and finance Corporation, New Delhi.
The large number of women local and from nearby villages attended the camp. The camp was conducted with an aim to aware the women about the schemes being implemented by JKWDC to empower the women financially by providing loan @6% interest (simple interest).
The District manager, JKWDC udhampur highlighted various schemes and requested to come forward and take the benefits of the schemes shared by JKWDC and other departments. Resource persons who spoke on the occasion were Dr.sudesh Kumari, medical officer PSC Hartaryan ,Pooja Jamwal from SANKALP,hub for empowerment of women, Meenakshi thakur from one stop centre for women. The Sarpanch of the area Darshana devi also spoke on the occasion Vote of thanks by Kamran Bhatti and Sesh kumar Sharma from JKWDC .At last refreshment was served to the gathering.TDD
