Jammu,(TDD): The government has reconstituted the Technical Appraisal Committee (TAC) for the “Project for Vehicle Location Tracking and Emergency Alert System.”
According to Government dated December 10, 2024, Mr. Ashaq Hussain Dar, Director In-charge of NIELIT, has been appointed as the new chairman of the TAC. This follows a partial modification to the earlier order (No. 711-JK(GAD) dated June 19, 2023), replacing Mr. Shameem Khan.
The order was issued under the reference IT-ADM/223/2021 by the Information Technology Department, emphasizing effective oversight of this important project.—(TDD)
