‘Two held with more than 5 kg narcotics’

RAJOURI: TDD,The Security forces today foiled a major trans-border smuggling bid with the recovery of narcotics consignment, and two persons in a joint operation in Rajouri District.
Although the official statement is yet to be released, the sources have claimed that the Army, Nowshera Police, and other security forces launched a joint operation following an intelligence input about the smuggling of narcotics.
Taking swift action, the security forces nabbed two locals from a village (names withheld) and recovered more than 5 kg of narcotics from their possession. Further investigation into the matter is on.TDD
