Srinagar, TDD: Apni Party’s senior leader and Media Advisor Farooq Andrabi has urged the authorities to ensure that people do not suffer undue hardships during the harsh winter days ahead.

In his statement issued here, Andrabi said, “As heavy snowfall and a harsh winter is forecasted in the valley in coming days, the administration must remain fully prepared to address the challenges and handle winter eventualities.”

He further said, “Most importantly, the administration must ensure adequate arrangements for the seamless supply of essential commodities to the residents across the valley. Also, the authorities should focus on minimizing unscheduled power cuts and ensuring a continuous water supply. Besides ensuring the availability of food items, there should be sufficient stocks of gas, fuel, and other critical supplies.”

“Above all, the administration must ensure that healthcare facilities, particularly in remote areas, are well-equipped to function smoothly during the winter months. Timely snow clearance of roads is essential for maintaining connectivity and preventing disruptions to daily life,” he added.

Andrabi stressed that all departments must remain well-coordinated and connected to make sure people do not face undue hardships during these harsh winter days.TDD
