Jammu University achieves prestigious A++ NAAC ranking, LG Sinha extends praise

Jammu, TDD,Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir, Manoj Sinha today extended his warm congratulations to the University of Jammu (JU) for securing the highly coveted A++ grade from the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC), with an impressive CGPA of 3.72 on a seven-point scale. In a message shared on the social media platform X, Sinha commended the university’s academic community, including the Vice Chancellor, faculty, staff, scholars, and students, for this remarkable achievement, which he said has brought great pride to Jammu and Kashmir.

He further expressed his admiration for JU’s reform-driven, forward-thinking vision, which, according to him, underscores the institution’s commitment to fostering academic excellence, conducting goal-oriented research, and nurturing innovation. The Lieutenant Governor also highlighted the university’s focus on the holistic development of students, preparing them to become enlightened and responsible citizens who contribute positively to society.

Sinha’s message highlighted that the achievement not only marks a significant milestone for the university but also strengthens the broader educational framework of Jammu and Kashmir. He wished continued success to the entire JU community, expressing confidence in their mission to further elevate the institution’s academic and research standards.(TDD)
