Jammu ,TDD:- The Fire and Fury Corps of the Indian Army, on Tuesday, expressed deepest condolence to the family of Tashi Namgyal, who was the first informant of the Pakistani intrusion into Indian territory in Kargil in 1999, which eventually resulted in the Kargil War. The Namgyal, the very first informant who let the Indian Army know that the enemy was around so that it could quickly take the appropriate response.
The Fire and Fury Corps has assured immediate assistance to Namgyal’s family left behind to mourn his loss. He leaves behind a wife and three children, two sons, and one daughter. The Army assured continued support to his family, considering his invaluable contribution to the nation.
The Fire and Fury Corps said that they will always owe it to Tashi Namgyal’s bravery and selfless sacrifice. His information came at the right moment in safeguarding the country’s sovereignty, and his actions will forever be remembered and honored by the Indian Army and the entire nation.TDD
